PLC updates

Hello Math Teachers,

Here are the notes from our last PDP meeting:

• Topics included:  Aleks and research for Aleks (https://webmail.mpls.k12.mn.us/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://orangemath.blogspot.com/2010/05/why-aleks-provides-best-math-software.html), Norms, Goals, MCA
• Goals set for discussion during the year:  Technology; Aleks curriculum; MCA Test Specs and lesson plans; Targeting Juniors for AYP purposes; Common assessments at end of quarter (Still looking for it); Project ideas (including modeling for teachers).
• HOMEWORK - bring in graphing calculator technique to share with teachers
• Dates for next meetings:  *Note: all days are Tuesdays*

Meetings will be at Urban League City Inc High School (2201 Blaisdell Ave S) at 3:30-5:00pm.
